Here is an actual sutra of spiritual content, as well as secular mathematical significance.

gopi bhagya madhuvrata
srngiso dadhi sandhiga
khala jivita khatava
gala hala rasandara

While this verse is a type of petition to Krishna, when learning it one can also learn the value of pi/10 (i.e. the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter divided by 10) to 32 decimal places. It has a self-contained master-key for extending the evaluation to any number of decimal places.
The translation is as follows:
O Lord anointed with the yogurt of the milkmaids’ worship (Krishna), O savior of the fallen, O master of Shiva, please protect me.
At the same time, by application of the consonant code given above, this verse directly yields the decimal equivalent of pi divided by 10: pi/10 = 0.31415926535897932384626433832792. Thus, while offering mantric praise to Godhead in devotion, by this method one can also add to memory significant secular truths.

The Mantra is the Word verbalized and in Vedic Science is known as God itself in Hinduism. The word OM is regarded by ancient Vedic Scientists as the word of creation or the primordial sound of the beginning of the universe. When a baby is in the womb of the woman during pregnancy, place your ears on her navel, you will hear the sound OM. This is the primordial sound of birth. Dr Oz on the Oprah Winfrey show and also Dr, Deepak Chopra has linked the word OM to the “Vegas Nerve” a nerve in the body that reacts to personal stress and gets relaxed when the word OM is chanted.
From the word OM the sound of all things were developed. In the Vedic Code of Science, as the universe developed also, the first Mantra in the world was OM and from that came other mantras which are the seed of all mantras or groups of letters which create sounds. As the Mantras or group of words developed they formed sounds or names. In Vedic Science, the first names developed were the names of the elements which we, in The Vedic code of Science, refer to as “Gods, Angels or Deities.” These elements include Air, Water, Space, Earth and Ether. Soon the Ancient sages and scientists that first appeared on earth added other names to more elements such as light, Energy, Reality, Creation and so on. For Air the name in Sanskrit became Vayu, wind that was split up into Oxygen, Hanuman, Hydrogen, another son of Vayu and so on. Light became Laxmi, Space became Vishnu and Energy became the two of them married together as Laxminarayan. Water became Ganga, Creation became Bramha and Knowledge became Saraswaty.
Soon more names followed from the natural sounds such as the word Ma for Mother, Ba for the word baba (later became baby in English) because of the first word out of the baby is Maa when it takes its first breath and then BA when it cries secondly for food. Other words were formed naturally also such as the word Moon for Monday, Sun for Sunday and so on. As you can see names developed naturally and so when a name is given by a parent such as a mother or father or even an Uncle, that sound is developed from the natural feelings of the person at that time. So if the person was sick or distressed at the time the name will take on that experience at that moment in that person life. For example if the person was thinking of a lost relative who died in distress, and because of his or her love for that person, would like name the child after that person, not realizing that the same vibrations have been transferred by that name and thus dooming the child to that same fate.
If you look around you, you will find that some of the names with similar sounds and spelling seem to have the same effect. One would tend to wonder why all the Kennedy’s died young, but at different ages because their last name “Kennedy” does not kick in after certain amount of letters after the first name. Similarly we have the same experiences with the Ghandis, the Bush’s and the ancient maharajas of India. Do not be surprised to see that many people whose first name is Jesus (more so in Spanish Countries) are usually people who have trouble getting married happily and they always seem to go through the sufferings that Christ went through though not in the same way. Note how all the countries with an “I” in the first name are always distressed such as Iran, Iraq, Israel, India, Indonesia, China and so on.
As the world began to be created by music or sound ,, the sounds of animals were observed to be different and soon names were developed for all creatures on earth, and so as to make each of us understand what we are talking about every item and living being was given a different name. This unique system was used as language which allowed us to use name words or groups of words to communicate with each other and understand the universe around us. Because of the creation of music, the sounds of the animals and birds, and the names of things, songs were created, prayers were created from mantras or groups of words and soon NAMES became very important to all people.
Since the first names were names of natural objects in the universe, the first names given to many people were some of the first words that were developed. A person for example was named after the Sun, or Moon, or Planet or Wind God, or even an animal. The ancient American Indians who had a limited language named their children like thus. Some children were named “Crazy horse” or “Strong Wind” or “Mellow Brook” and so on. Soon the ancients began to form new words or vibrations that were more musical to the ears as the languages of the world developed and names start to take on a new creative path.
In particular, in ancient India, the art of choosing a name for a child was very refined. What the ancient Sages and scientists observed was that certain sounds matched with the movement of the Sun and the Moon. Then assigned these sounds to each degree of the MOON orbit around the earth. The figured that if the day was divided into 4 parts – i.e. Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night, then each part of the should carry their own sound, word or mantra. Thus they then attached 108 sounds to whole circle of orbit. Whenever a child was born and the parents wanted to choose a name for the child they would consult with their family Sage (referred to as the Guru) and he would provide the first sound or syllable of the name to the parents. For example if the first sound given is “LU” then the parents could name their child Luana, Lucas or Luresa or if the first name sound was given as TEE then the name would be Teekalall or Teerana and so on.
